PVC conduits bushing questions?

I have installed bell ends on 4'' conduits that enter the bottom of switch gear.
But does anyone install bushings on 1'' conduits that enter Quatizite boxes
or street light poles?
We always install bushings on open ends of EMT conduit.

We do and per section 352.46 it's required unless the box or fitting provides equivalent protection.

We always install bell ends also.
