Pvc Expansion Coupling Confusion

I have done alot of electrical installtions for underground services.

getting alot of conflicting info from AHJ's from different towns on the use of PVC Expansion copulings.


Would like to know what other people have done in regards to underground service from 200 amps residential type to commercial underground services to a meter stack.

We usually put an expansion fitting between the meter and the point where the conduit emerges from the ground.

Before we were required to use a expansion coupling or slip joint as thay are call in CT. I have seen a couple of meter sockets pulled away from the house or the 3 inch PVC pulled out of the bottom because of frost movement.
