it tends to degrade pretty quickly given the summer heat.

but then, so do people.

You would have to see if Arizona allows or has local amendments to the NEC. there is no NEC restriction.

The temperature swings that some parts of Arizona sees would require expansion fittings in all but the shortest run of exterior PVC.

i spent one warm oven's summer in feen-x
a while ago.

it got so hot i expanded back to southern calif.
and when it cooled off, it seems the expansion
was permanent.
