PVC runs in and out of metal J-Box with no splices just a pull point but what article says the metal box must be bonded to EGC? Can't find it right now.

I believe you may be thinking of 250.148. "Where conductors are spliced within a box, or terminated on equipment within or supported by a box, any equipment grounding conductors...shall be connected...to the box..."

I don't think it would apply to your pull point.

All metal parts must be bonded. The box must be bonded when running plastic conduit. 250.110

Dennis, am I missing something in 250.110? I don't see it as saying all metal parts must be bonded. It requires metal parts of fixed electrical equipment likely to become energized to be connected to an EGC, and only under the conditions listed in 1-6.

Okay look at 250.86-- I am sure there are other sections.

250.4(A) ...(3) Bonding of Electrical Equipment. Normally non?current-carrying conductive materials enclosing electrical conductors or equipment, or forming part of such equipment, shall be connected together and to the electrical supply source in a manner that establishes an effective groundfault current path.
