can anyone tell me what the correct fitting is for use with this pvc coated 12/2 mc is. A cgb fitting with the proper bushing works fine and seals as it should and very effective but is not"listed for the purpose". thx

You need to use a fitting that is listed for use with PVC coated MC cable.
