I am doing a residential remodel and upgrading one of the 2 panels in the house. The panel I am upgrading is going to have: A 50A steam shower, A 50A EV plug and 240v in floor heat that I don't know the amperage yet, I would imagine 20 - 30A Its just for a small bathroom. There is no other heavy draws in this portion of the house. It consists of a Master bed / bath, pool table / TV room and the single car garage. I would like to try to get by with a 125A panel, not sure how to properly size it.
The house has a 200A main.
Any advice or recommendations on calc tools for this is greatly appreciated. I plan on doing a residential service calc for the whole house but unsure how to do this.
