Q. When installing a ground bar is the paint required to be removed when tapped and threaded?

A. No per 250.12 tapping and threading would make the removal of paint unnecessary as long as 250.8(A)(5) is complied with. This question was asked on the last Mike Holt Enterprise's live stream of the recording of the PV video. I really appreciate educators that allow multiple different opinions and topics that improves their content.
