Came across cast or aluminum parallel groove clamps (not sure which it is) being used to splice #3 copper feeder wires to an emergency panel in a 12 x 12 junction box. Can these types of clamps be used to splice copper with?

If it is listed for copper to copper connections "Yes" Do you have a part number or cut sheet to reference?
Sometimes that info is on the connector also.

Thank you for replying so quickly. Unfortunately I did not get a part or reference number. What are the dangers of using such a clamp to splice copper wire if it is not listed for it?

Primarily deterioration of the connection from thermal cycling.
