Does anyone know where I can get an Excel sheet for detailed daily Electrical Project progress reporting and tracking?

I don't know if anyone has made an excel sheet for that function but we buy Daily Log books at Office Max for our field foremen to track job progress. I'm sure an Excel sheet could be made fairly easily if you know the program well enough to create it. Around here, that task would be delegated to our office manager, she is just short of sainthood to us PM's. Good Luck

I appreciate the reply...yeah I could make 1.. I just thought there may be 1 around already done...Every time I make my own tracking reports I keep adding to them, changing etc when I get a better idea and usually I get a good document after a lot of iterations of changes. I just thought threre may be one out there that someone had already put a lot of thought into..

Thanks,

Sonny

If the log is for your own internal purposes, an excel spreadsheet with the individual pages placed in a binder will work fine, however if it is for more legal purposes, it is best to have the pages bound together, and not removed from it's binding. The reasoning behind this to prevent some pages to be made up "after the fact" if something goes wrong on a project.

I do project tracking and management from time to time. I always write my own Excel spreadsheet for the specific project. I might have something I could gut and attach, if they ever get around to turning attachments back on ...

Are you looking for something really basic that you could insert rows into for each day and have whatever totals magically show up? What information do you want to appear? How do you want it formatted? How overly convoluted do you want it?
