Please see attached sketch. There is no backup generator, no ATS and the jockey pump is used solely for sprinkler system pressure maintenance purposes. There is no local amendment that says to provide backup power to the jockey pump.

The Servc B electric utility conductors are tapped ahead of the main service disconnects in the Main service Switchboard emergency tap compartment as shown on sketch. The Servc B conductors feed fire pump controller service rated but connect in trough and feed jockey pump service rated controller with service disco both in Remote water room as shown in sketch.

Following questions:

1. In the attached sketch Would the service rated jockey pump controller which has service disconnect be grouped with the main service switchboard main service breakers? Is their anything that allows them to be remote in NEC 2017?

2. In the attached sketch main service switchboard has six main service breakers. The remote jockey pump service rated controller that has main service disconnect would it count as 7th service disconnect or not according to NEC 2017?

Understand had previous versions of this post earlier but that post got side tracked and not clear exactly what right direction is
