Is there a reference in the Code that explains whether or not it is acceptible to have both 120/240V wiring and 12 volt wiring (for low voltage landscape lighting) within a common christy box that is in the ground where the PVC pipe raceways are for pull points? Any input on this would be greatly appreciated....

Take a look at 300.3(C) also take a look at the FPN for class 2 and class 3 circuits.

You might also want to look at Article 411 for lighting systems operating at 30 volts or less.

When I read this post all I could think was "what the hell is a christy box". I did some googling and realised what they are. In this part of the country the same style boxes are often called "Brooks boxes".

'You say four square box, I say 1900 box, let's call the whole thing off' LOL

And around here they are "Quazite" boxes.
