Question on breaker size based on MOCD

Does the code state you have to size the breaker to match the maximum listed on the equipment nameplate. I have 3 cooler condensors that show a max. of 25 but the drawings listed these @ 20amp and I am not sure by code if I need to change the breakers.

Nope. It is legal. I always put the max size to avoid a chance of nuisance tripping on inrush.
