Question on Cord Drop

I need to drop a outlet from the deck over a worktable in a commercial garage, is SJ or SO suitable for this with the proper supports.

Either one. Table 400.4 lists both as suitable for pendants.

Section 511.7(A)(2) allows these pendant cords to be installed above a Class 1 area, be aware of the boundaries / height.
