I couldn't find anything specifically saying this wasn't allowed, so i just want to get some clarification from you guys in case you've seen something i missed.

the structure in question is a poolside cabana. i'm installing a 20kw generator on the dwelling, and i need to put the circuit for the refrigerator in the cabana on the genny panel, but nothing else out there. its got a full kitchen, vending machines, etc. . .etc. . . fancy-smancy.

must i have a single disconnect at the cabana to de-energize all circuits in there at once, or am i okay to have a SP switch mounted on the exterior next to the panel as a disconnect for the fridge circuit?

'preciate it

Brant, I'm not following the lay out completely, but in any case I think some good signage

for the end user would be a good idea.

225.30 says one supply per building unless you meet one of the exceptions. Hopefully, exception 4 (Optional Standby Systems) allows a generator circuit in addition to the other one.

225.33 says the disconnecting means for each supply permitted in 225.30 may be no more than 6 switches per supply.

225.34(B) says any disconnecting means for optional standby systems needs to be sufficiently remote from the primary disconnecting means to avoid simultaneous interruption of power.

225.37 requires signs at each disconnect indicating the other power sources to the building (branch circuits only from a dwelling to outbuilding are exempted).
