I am doing load calculations for a residence with central air conditioning and central gas heat. The dwelling also has radiant ceiling heat. The ceiling heat totals 11,520VA at 100% and the A/C compressor is 9246VA and the air handler is 1100VA. My question is, since the radiant heat load is bigger than the A/C load, I should not include the A/C compressor load in the service calcs, correct? I would still need to include the air handler since it would be possible to run the gas furnace and the radiant heat at the same time, right?
Thanks in advance, Brian
