OK guys i took my test on July 9th and i am presently waiting for my results if i passed or failed. Right now i am vacationing in Florida and my wife's friend back home is picking up our mail. today she called and said i received a big envelope from the state of NJ electrical examiners board. Is this a good sign that it is a big envelope?

Gezz, at least you got a response. (granted its a legal Document)

I know alot of correspondance gets sent to the infintiy of Cyber - Space.

It most be Good News , they don't send a large envolope when a bullet letter will do.

Congradutations

They sent you a new application for re-testing!

They usually notify, the ones that passed first, usually 2 weeks after testing.

Looks like it's good news.

Could be you did so bad on the test, they are sending you a C&D letter....it's been known to happen every now and again...

i was told a large envelope is good, small is bad. i already knew i'd passed before i got my letter, but it arrived in a small envelope, so i did get worried. the large envelope was for the big certificate w/ the state seal and all that fancy writing. i didn't get one. they make you buy that piece of paper now. i thought they might could include that cost in the $200 i paid to take the test, not to mention the 9 hrs round trip to the test site and $200 hotel room.
