Can I get some feedback on one or more very high end sectional ground rods in both the 5/8 x 8' and the 3/4"x8' sizes? Basically I'm looking for the best possible sectional ground rod system, especially in terms of how the two or more sections are attached to each other to insure the best possible connection. Any feedback or direction would be greatly appreciated.

If I understand your question correctly, you drive the first rod to ground level, there's a coupling that goes over the first rod you drove, you put the second rod in the coupling and, DRIVE IT. And so on. Had a swimming board job where the manufacturer of the board INSISTED on couple ohms resistance to bond the board. We had 2 ground rods driven 30' down to accomplish that.

When doing sectional ground rods I prefer copper clad as they are smoother than the galv. and drive easier. Best to use an elec. or pneumatic hammer with a drive adapter.
