Question on Splices in Service Disconnect

Hello, I have an application where there is a service disconnect containing a splice on the load side of the switch. My understanding is this is a feeder tap. Next to the switch is a 225 Amp panel with MCB and a 200 Amp switch. Is it permissible to tap Feeders in a service disconnect switch? Tap is less than 10, my question pertains more to the legality of the splice itself rather than size of the tap Feeders. See link below for rough sketch.

There is no prohibition on splices in service panels. It’s done all the time.
