Hi everyone,
Is there any know restriction of using a copper busbar to be used as a termination point to connect 6 existing feeders at 300MCM to 4 new feeders at 350MCM?
The busbar is rated to exceed 1200A per the manufacturer.
I cannot locate any code requirement stating busbar cannot be used in such a manner.
The 6 existing feeders were originally secondary cables for 3 single-phase pmts that were tied together to make a 3-phase 120/208V system.
The 4 new feeders are coming off a new pad mount utility xfmr to a new 1200A 3-pole breaker and hopefully terminate at that busbar.
Thanks in advance.
