I have ceiling cassettes that is wired from outdoor condensing units.

The maintenance receptacle for ceiling cassette is 25 feet but on another ceiling cassette which is at another separate room ceiling.

I was wondering would the service receptacle be considered per NEC 2014 section 210.60 accessible location or the ceiling cassette would need receptacle right where its at?

Likely an AHJ call. IMO if there is a receptcale in the room with the cassette that would suffice but that's definitely an opinion.

Is an "air handling unit", "heating, air-conditioning, and refrigeration equipment"?
If it is just moving the air, I don't see it as "heating, air-conditioning, and refrigeration equipment".

It's an indoor unit for a split system. There are two types of indoor units, the familiar one that hangs on the wall and another that fits in a 2'x2' hung ceiling grid. Both are fan/evaporator/condenser (if heat pump). The indoor units don't require a service receptacle because all service to the system takes place at the outdoor condensing unit.

My opinion agrees with your opinion per the 2014 210.63. The 2020 added to be on same level but that could be debatable as being mounted to grid or above grid or in that room on the same level with the unit ( receptacle outlet, that is )
