Questions for connecting a delta generator

Dear Mr.
1.- The normal power source is connected to delta transformers bank, 240-120V (3 phase 4 wire).

2.- It will install an emergency generator at 240 V (Delta Connection).

Question:
A.- When transferring the service to the generator, how we ensure the 120 V at the load?

I would appreciate your help and technical clarification.

Thanks

If your generator is 240 delta you won't be able to feed 120 volt loads without some additional equipment.

If the generator is only delta 3ph, 3wire then you need a transformer delta in, delta out with one of the secondary coils, center grounded to give the 120V.

Questions for connecting a delta generator

Dear Mr.

According to their recommendation, the solution would be to install a transformer 1 to 1 ratio.

Thanks

Is the generator new or used? If you are going to spend $$$ on the necessary transformer you may as well look into what kind of $$$ it will take to get the right generator in the first place.
