Questions from a gas field

Ok ,instead of making several threads ,I'll ask all my questions here ,it is little newbie quesions ,any help will be really appreciated ,plz keep checking this thread ,thx in advance.

My company will send me to inspect a new built sea gas platform
The main elec. source are solar cells ,and emergency diesel gen.

Can anybody tell me what sheets and drawings to ask the contractors and what kinds of tests and inspections I shall perform??

just tell me the title of the tests and examinations ,I'll google it if u r short of time

This is exactly the type of information that your supervisor should be giving you. I don't think this type of Forum will be able to teach you how to do your job, and I certainly would not ask that of the membership. I recognize that no engineering program is likely to include a course on the paperwork associated with design and testing; I did not learn such things from college. But you are asking for a vast great deal of information (even though it was a short and simple question), and this is not the right place to learn it all.

I am going to close this thread for now. After you have asked for help from your own company employees (your boss, your co-workers), if there are specific things that you don't understand, then post a more specific question.
