Questions from building engineer?

1) A 3 phase 480V motor drawing 62 amps. What is the electric motor force?

2) A single phase 25HP motor draw ___ amps. How many kilovolts?

These questions seem like some kind of joke to me but maybe you have an answer.

What is the electric motor force?

That term has no meaning. The phrase "electromotive force" is essentially the same as voltage. You told us it was a 480 volt motor, so the emf is 480, as has already been said.

2) A single phase 25HP motor draw ___ amps. How many kilovolts?

Not enough information is given. If you tell me the current draw, I can get an idea of the voltage.

Where questions came from

A building engineer taking a test ask me to answer these questions for him. I could not understand why someone would present a question in this form. So I put out to see if there is something legit to answer. It appears that the questions are bogus.

They sound like phases often do when translated from one language to another.
