I know it is probably something I should know, but I am a bit iffy on terminating 208v. Why? I dont know. But I am.
Anyway,I have a 208 ,single phase top mount food well that is in a prison kitchen.
The power is coming from the panel (breaker amp unknown, right now-can furnish tommorrow) and goe to kitchen where I installed a 240v non-fused puller type disconnect (supplied by my boss) then sent it to the control box on the appliance. The terminal block has wires on the L1 and L2 side, I terminated the incoming power to these 2 terminals. This IS right, isn't it?
I feel pretty STUPID for asking such an "elementary" question, but I need to know that I hooked it up properly.
Thanks for ya'lls help.
