Wayne as Charlie has said the trailer itself may well be outside the scope of the NEC.
With that said I would not set this up as you describe. I would
not bond the neutral to the trailer frame.
If you look at 551 Recreational Vehicles and particularly 551.45 Distribution Panelboard, you will see for park trailers the code requires the neutral to be isolated.
I am not saying this code is enforceable for your car carrier but if it was me I would follow the appropriate rules of the park trailer article.
I would make the bond at the generator, this will bond the generator frame to the trailer frame through the EGC. (Four wires between generator and trailer)
At the trailer make sure to bond the trailer frame to the grounding bar of the panel.
There may be other issues but the one that sticks out to me is if you bond the neutral at the panel in the trailer they would be no code compliant way to hook up to shore (permanent power) if that ever comes up. I think at some point that is likely, maybe at the home base.
I would use the attachment plug used for a park trailer 125/250-volt, 50-ampere, 3-pole, 4-wire grounding type.
Wayne I am not an engineer that is just my opinion and hopefully others will post if my opinion is off base here, I would not want to see any one get hurt.
In my mind it just makes sense to use article 551 as a guide even if not truly enforceable for your job.
