Has anybody seen these yet. My suppliers have then and they seem like a good idea for the right situation. This product fits on a 4" sq. box and makes the box an old work box. Good for 2 gang- obviously.

That's what I've heard also. Seems nicer than Madison clips but I haven't used them yet.

Raco 232 box with a cover that screws into the tapped screw holes on that box. Best old work box we have seen for AC/MC type work. Cut a hole and your done.

Are these old work boxes, or any old work boxes, good for use in a wooden wall? I didn't know if they would grip to the wood like they would drywall.

Sure-- use regular old work boxes all the time in wood. These would work well but they need to be 2 gang.

They work even better in wood. Wood does not have a tendency to break out like drywall can.

these are kinda cool. I have always just used the stackable singles to make a 2 gang box. This would be quicker and easier.
