Radian pool bonding

I have a radiant pool installation coming up. Pool is 48" high, will be partially buried, 18" will be exposed above ground. My question is about the equipotential bonding. Above ground pools require #8 around pool 12-18 inches from side, 4-6 inches below sub grade. The only metal available to attach a lug is plate at the bottom of the supports which will be buried @40" below grade. There will also be concrete poured around perimeter of pool. I know rebar must be bonded, but does #8 still need to be run around perimeter of pool attached at 4 places? This will make #8 deeper than 6".

IMO, if the plate is metal but the post that attaches to it is not metallic then I see no reason to bond it. If the inspector makes you do it then you can still keep the perimeter bonding at 4-6 inches and just dive down in the corners. I would circle the pool and split bolt a #8 at each corner but I really don't see that as necessary
