mopowr steve Senior Member Location NW Ohio Occupation Electrical contractor Apr 1, 2016 #6 It would be required to be WR (weather resistant) type because it is outdoors. But even a plain ole weatherproof cover will work without being a bubble cover for your porch ceiling installation.
