Range Calc

So in Tom Henry's 2020 calculation book, they have a standard method Multifamily dwelling example that I'm working, and their range calculation doesn't seem right to me.

Tom Henry's Calculation:
8kw range x 25 units = column c 40kw

My calculation:
8kw x 25 units = 200kw
200kw x 26% demand factor = 52kw

Which is correct?

I get you want to have less, but where in the code does it say to go with column C on this one?

Sorry if its a dumb question. Any help is appreciated.

The table allows you to use Col C or Col B in this case. You always pick the smaller of the 2. Col C states ranges up to 12 kw
