just trying to see if my heads in the right place or if im way off...

so my friend just got a new stove, rated 14.5kw @ 240v, comes out to 60 amps, so i thought that seemed a little much for what this stove looks like. doesnt seem like anything special. so i went into article 220 for ranges, brought me to table 220.55. column C says not over 12kw you can take it as 8000watts. the first note underneath the table says if youre over 12kw but under 27, increase the number in column C by 5% for every KW or fraction of, for the appliance rated over 12. so i had 3 fractions of a KW so i did 8000w times 15% which put me at 9200W and a 40 amp breaker.

Does the range state 60 amp overcurrent protective device? If not then a 40 is all you need
