Hi :
i would like to turn on and off a range from a divace ( controler ) relay ..insted the nobs from the range / this person has a relative ( blind ) mental problems ....so the idea is to protec this person and no be able to use the range when this perosn is alone . .

put a lock on the breaker or add a contactor with a key switch.

Yup, that breaker padlock attachment is much easier and cheaper than a contactor.
