Range next to a sink?

are there any codes that dictate a distance or allow a range to be installed next to a kitchen sink on a section of counter in a kitchen.

There is no NEC prohibition to installing a range next to a kitchen sink.

Both my old apartment and my pre-remodeled kitchen had them adjacent one another. Sucks to work in a kitchen like that though. Sprayer hose can double as a pot filler though.
