At the last company that i worked for, we typically ran # 8 AL. SER with a 40 amp. breaker.,for the slide-in type ranges in single-family units. I guess what I'm asking is, have any of you ran into any problems with a 40 for the range? How many run 50a. circuits and breakers just incase the homeowner runs all burners and the oven at the same time(holiday season)? I notice alot of the older homes here have 50's and the newer ones 40's. Thanks, Rob...
