Range tripping GFCI

I recently installed a new receptacle and 2P30 GFCI circuit breaker for a customer who bought a Miele duel element range. It seems like the heating element is tripping the GFCI and all the product support is saying is to put it on a regular circuit breaker. Within 6' of a sink so that is not an option. Just wondering if anyone has run into this problem and how did you solve it.

Some people have had success temporarily installing a standard breaker, then letting the elements run for several minutes to drive out any moisture that might be present. Reinstalling the GFCI afterwards.
