We have a project that the power source is 600 V three phase. Can we use cables/wires rated 600 V to feed downstream transformers and panelboards? If not, is there any code issue?

Thank you in advance.

The nominal voltage on that system is 575V. The conductor rating at 600V is typical.

The nominal voltage is also called system voltage that is the voltage bounded by the step-up and step-downtransformer voltage, e.g., 240 volts, 480 volts, and 600 volts. The equipment rated voltage is also called Utilization voltage that is the voltage at the terminals of the equipment, e.g.,230 volts, 460 volts, and 575 volts.
