Do you have to rip out all of the walls to replace the old romex with new romex?

Your question is to generic, It depends on the construction of your house. Is it old plaster and bricked on the out side. Is it a wood framed house. Does it have an unfinished attic? Is there a basement. Is the ceiling finished in the basement?
