Reactance value in Voltage drop calculations

There is one case we face in our project and I ask for your support.
the case is for voltage drop cal. for cable size 300 or 400 mm2 the current is 306 A, AC and the distance is 350 meter. The issue is the end user representative want to consider the reactance value for that cable for VD but I neglect this value and take the resistance only.
Any one can tell me what is the right to consider or to neglect.

On an engineering level, consider. At 400mm², the reactance can be more than double the resistance.
