Just reading through an old book by E.W Kamen. Industrial Controls and Manufacturing

Anyone read this? Alot of these physics make me nauseous. Right over my head. I bought the book for further insight into automation. The book kicked my *ss. This book proves me completely ignorant and green.

Anyone else run these numbers?

Before Xmas I hinted to wife & daughter that I wouldn't mind getting a book called "How Mathmaticians Think" or something similar. They just looked at me like "Yea, right." I think they were giving me a hint. You guys are already leaps & bounds ahead of me.
