What is a good height for rec in garage I have put them in at 18 up to 3ft.I have a garage to do and customer does not care.Its a resedential garage.

I like to put them at standard switch height. That is the standard way around here, and most of the country I would guess.

They are easy to reach, and don't get blocked as easily by all the junk that ends up in a garage.

I agree. Work benches and shelving is commonly installed in residential garages. Placement of receptacles 42" to 48" aff. usually ensures the receptacle remains accessible.

This would mean I should put the receptacles in my garage on the ceiling. :(
