Receptacle behind gas range - residential

Inspector is requiring GFCI protection for a receptacle that’s located behind a gas range.
It is 5’ from the sink.

Due to its location it is not even accessible to plug anything else into it.
It feeds up to a hardwired range hood.

Seems foolish to spend $60 on a GFCI breaker as that’s the only way to protect it since it’s not accessible to reset a GFCI receptacle.

I didn’t make it part of the SA circuit as I wasn’t sure of the amp draw of the hood at rough in.

I agree with inspector (and RC/retired). AFCI and GFCI protection required.

What does the hood have to do with the range?
