Receptacle Covers

Have any of you come across these in the field? Would you allow these to be used over a 2 prong receptacle? First I knew such a thing existed was today.

Never seen one before....I take it is a Decora style cover that mounts to a standard receptacle?

As for using over a 2 prong receptacle, I dont see an issue with that.

eta: I see they have 'adapters' for using regular wall plates on Decora receptacles:

Same here. I can see someone using one to '"repair" a damaged receptacle front.

The flip side is you could have some fun with someone by mounting the inserts upside down and watching them try to plug in a cord - April Fool's Day is just 9 weeks away!

I think the intent was to use these to convert older 3-prong receptacles to the Decora type without having to actually change out the receptacle.
