Receptacle Identification

The code tells me I need to identify a Hospital Grade Receptacle but does not specify how. I know the green dot indicates Hospital Grade. Does this come from the manufacturer or is there a national standard? What about EM Receptacles, should they be red? Just wondering if the NEC calls for this or if it's in a job spec.

The manufacturers.

What about EM Receptacles, should they be red? Just wondering if the NEC calls for this or if it's in a job spec.

The hospital will need to set a standard and this would be reiterated in the specs, the EM identification does not have to be red.
