Receptacles in a NEMA 12 environment

I have been searching for some time (in vain) for a NEMA 12 cover for a duplex receptacle.
I don't want to use a C1D1 enclosure because they cost so much, so I am looking for alternative options.

Suggestions?

I hate to break it to you, but the 'explosion proof' covers won't keep oil out - and that's what NEMA-12 is all about.

I'd go with ordinary "Bell" boxes and outdoor 'no bubble' covers. You'll know soon enough if the oil is damaging the gaskets.
