I take them off and use them for ballast swaps.
I've used them in the Halo cans without a second thought. I think the Halo cans actually include a real Wago-brand connector as opposed to a knockoff like the imitation Halo cans do.
Thats one of the reasons I asked. I was surprised they were actually Wagos, and wondered if people actually used them (besides for ballasts)
I have tried them and I still am just not sure. I think I would rather learn from other people's mistakes...

sure I use em. I tug on everywire, too, before I close the can. Of course, I'm the kinda guy that likes to energize the ckts before the drywall goes up, too, ...
Ditto and ditto.I use them whenever they're included. I get annoyed when I get hi-hats without them.
