Recessed Stair Fixtures

I have a customer that is looking for a recessed wall fixture that will illuminate the floor of a narrow hallway. The preference is to have a recessed fixture approximately 12-18 inches AFF. Light should reflect on a downward angle or provide illumination to light the foot path. The supply house recommends stair lighting but I found one site that offers it but I do not know who makes it.
There is no preference for incand. or low voltage, I am looking for recommendations.

Thanks in advance.

One such fixture is made by Cooper Lighting, Halo Recessed step light H2920ICT.

Thank you Al, hopefully the consumer will find these attractive. There really are no other options, unless he wants to put in wall sconces or ceiling fixtures. So far, these ideas are out the window....

Re: Recessed Stair Fixtures

P&S makes a hall light that will go in a S/G nail up box. I use the on stair treads for stair lighting. They also have a Photo-cell model and one that is a recept/lite combo. Pretty nice. Got rave reviews for the stair job.

Wayne123,

Is this the P&S catalog page that displays the product that you are describing?

I really like that the light source is a LED.

Peter D, I like the NSL stuff are they available in MA?
Yes, as Scott said CLS carries them, they have numerous branches throughout Massachusetts and the rest of New England. Go here for CLS website. Most decent electrical suppliers and lighting showrooms have NSL and if they don't, ask them to start stocking it. :)
