This may be in the wrong category. Anyway, work here in the mitten is slow. Looking at the NEIS list of state licensing requirements, if my state reciprocates with another, do I just apply in that state with my valid journeyman's license, and then become licensed journeyman in that particular state without testing?
I know it's a dumb question, but who knew that the mitten's economy could get this bad.

Cadpoint,
As a contactor in Michigan, it is my understanding that Michigan is not a reciprocal to any other state. That being said, some states MIGHT allow you to use your current license as proof of any hour requirements and that would allow you to sit in and test for their state license. I know of no state that would allow you to walk in with a Mich lic, fill out a few forms and get a new lic.
