I need a label maker for identifying panels, printing addresses, etc.. Looks like a number of them are bluetooth from your phone now.

Anyone have a solid recommendation? Thanks

Brother PTE 300. Uses standard brother label tapes, can do cable wrap, flags and heat shrink. Rechargeable battery, hand held, takes up to 3/4” tapes. I used one every day when I was working.
Buy from amazon

I just looked this one up 15 minutes ago and sent it to my boss and said we need another one to travel with. We use one on the production floor and it is used a lot every day. Not cheap, but not cheap junk either. Had one for years.

I third the Brady. Does wraps, sleeves and stickers... can't beat that.

69$ sounds good to me. No connectivity though. I want USB to Excel. I need tapes and heat shrink.

It seems to me panel labels could be made with the cheap mail label makers and cut out with scissors. I need the heat shrink.

I searched at one point for heat shrink that could be printed on 8 1/2 x 11 with a desktop printer and peeled off a sticky back like a mailing label. I guess that would be too easy and millions of device manufacturers would be out of business. You are welcome for the idea.. I don't know if there is a patent.
