Should a company with a 2000amp 480 volt electrical service have a some type of device or recorder to show what is going on or happened at the time of power failure? Our utilty has not been reliable and we have been on generator power many times. There are old meters on the switchgear that become dead during generator power . Can someone recomend a system they think would be of help to us so we know more of what is going on ?

The EMS (energy management systems) division of my company (Gridpoint) might be able to help. http://www.gridpoint.com/
