Has anyone used this? Is it good for a smaller family business doing residential jobs? I'm new to estimating, have taken some quick (continuing ed hrs) classes but am not certain of my abilities... but want to learn in a very structured way-GOOD HABITS not learn bad habits if possible.
I'm starting to take over my father's company and am hoping to find a more streamlined (read: organized/efficient/effective) way to do a great many things having to do with the business end of things, and this includes estimating.
Popdukes is OLD SCHOOL and his desk has always been cluttered with scrap paper, scribbled shorthand and numbers and at times I wonder how 40 years later he is still in business/has retained so much of his sanity!
Since I'm not such a Luddite... I'd like to use some sort of software that I can refer back to for a similar size job in future, or be able to search past jobs as reference, ecc.
Any suggestion are appreciated!
