In a thread a week or two ago the subject of reducing washers was questioned.
Some people were for the use of them and some for not using them.
I got the idea from one of "don-resqcapt19" post to inquire at the UL web site, what test procedures and current values were used in evaluating them.
This was a phone call reply so I don't remember word for word what was said.
While they didn't offer any specifics or numbers, I was told they use the same testing as used for connectors.
On painted boxes, panels, and troughs the paint must be removed for proper grounding.
